Moarein
Hello everyone! I've been a big Star Wars fan since I was a kid. I present to you my Fine Molds Millennium Falcon in 1/72 scale. This is the best plastic set I've worked with. I build this model about 5 years ago and it took me about 2000 hours. I used different materials and techniques to achieve the effect of aging. The base is entirely scratch build. Here are links to both photo albums: Part 1: https://www.facebook.com/mihail.vodenicharski/media_set?set=a.2159938566892&type=3 Part 2: https://www.facebook.com/mihail.vodenicharski/media_set?set=a.2969705290554&type=3 I hope You like it

Schwarz-Brot
Well, thank you. Now I shot one on fleabay. Spent more money on stuff I don't really need this month than I should. Could you tell in detail how you made the acrylic base? It looks fantastic and I think I'd like to copy it.
Camo Viking
Fantastic job with the painting and weathering. The base looks like it's straight out of the original movie, too. Well done. (And thanks for posting the photos here, too. Not all of us have Facebook accounts.)

The base is made of a piece of black plexiglass, on which I cut a hole for the freight elevator. Ъou're right - Episode 4 - A New Hope was my model for this Everything else is basically old computer parts, cardboard and wire.
