1/48 Tamiya Hurricane

Recommended Posts

Another safer at home build.  I used mostly AK Real Color paints. Not a particularly fun kit especially with the poor fitting engine panels.  Landing gear and tail wheel are very fragile so I installed them last.  I used Montex masks for the insignia but I had to make homemade stencils for the letters Thanks for looking

Presumably this is an Italeri tooling in a Tamiya box?

Exactly I think the only thing Tamiya in the box was the 3 pilot figures

Cockpit and instrument panel very nicely done. Are the instruments decals, painted or pencil detailed? They're very well done.

Thank you!  They are decals

Very nice. Good one saving photos of the cockpit details: I've built a couple of kits with lovely detail inside that I can't really appreciate through the canopy!
