Marklo
Made my semi annual pilgrimage up to the big smoke today. Finally got to IKEA and got some extra shelves for my display cabinet, and one or two other bits and pieces…
Marklo
Various bits and pieces accomplished today but the most notable is the progress on the Salamander.
Marklo
Finally starred installing my new shelves. And I now have a 1:144 shelf. We got a new dog so in a good note I’m getting way more exercise, this is the forest across the road from my house. But on a slightly less hood note I’m getting less bench time, well you can’t have everything

I suppose its five years plus of modelling including the lockdown where I did very little except modelling and gardening for a year. And of course there is the b shelving unit including the WIP shelf and shelf of doom. Not forgetting the lower layers of the a shelving unit where the AFVs and 1/32 racers live. Markh-75
Displays are looking good! Cabinets are the best way, you might have to carefully dust the models only every now and again but not every week! I only build when I'm up to it, if I'm tired or not feeling great I dont go near the modelling room. Besides, I like taking my time with them now.😉
Marklo
The Fury is almost done. I’ve the builds for the Matchbox and Big the M3/4 and British GBs coming up next but I’m enjoying the FT so they’ll probably be my main builds for the next week or so.

Marklo
So I may have started a 1/24 scale scratch built Hetzer but at least I admit I have a problem I did also get the three builds I was planning to finish, finished. But the Revell o gf GB looms and I have three builds planned for that. Close to the edge. 1. Albatross CIX 2. Sopwith Swallow 3. Sage Type 2 4. Taube 5. Apache 6. Brisfit This weeks priorities 7. Olympic - getting there 8. Challenger - is progressing Everything else 9. M577 APC 10. Benibato 11. Avro 504k 12. Do 17(?) 13. 1/144 Tornado 14. 1/24 Renault FT 15. 1/48 F100 16. 1/24 Hetzer I really should try to get the Apache, Albatros, Swallow, Sage, Brisfit and Taube done as none of them need that much time to finish them.

Marklo
In no particular order, but with photos showing the current status . 1. Sopwith Swallow 2. Sage Type 2 3. Taube 4. 1/48 Fokker DVII ( Canadian GB) 5. Apache 6. Brisfit 7. Olympic - getting there 8. 1/48 Sopwith Dolphin ( Canadian GB) 9. M577 APC 10. Benibato 11. Avro 504k 12. Marklo
I am dangerously close to finishing the Sage and the Olympic. The Dornier, the Benibato and the Avro are next priority. The Apache, the Swallow and the Taube are the next in line I think not much work on any of them. However as the F5 GB is approaching I have 3 F5s I’m going to build The Dornier, Benibato, 504, P47 and F100 are all almost primer ready so notwithstanding some scrubing on the latter two I’ll probably spend a large part of Saturday priming and preshading.
