00-A69-D9-F-6-CE0-458-F-852-E-7-AF559-A8Repurpose, reuse, recycle. Not much model making done today but I made a somewhat rustic bench from scrap timber as a permanent home for my scroll saw, which is now living in the garage beside my chop saw and toaster oven.

E2-D79884-54-FB-4-E11-B083-AEA1-B4078-E9I did use said saw to cut out some laminated prop blanks, the one on the right will be for the Albatros CIX.

Between illhealth and gardening tasks not getting to the bench much but I’m working on one side project which is my photo setup. I need some more materials before attacking the booth but I decided to make a ‘concrete base’ for the more modern subjects.

So foam sections attached to a blackboard bad and covered with poly filler.

CCAB3-AF0-B85-A-4679-979-B-88-CFD1-C3-C4Rattlecan grey it’s called Dopey ( I’m assuming after the elephant) needs a a bit of weathering and maybe a few plants but relatively happy with it.

5AF421F7-BE30-4D65-9D12-FE07B40912A8.jpgIve been mostly working on the CIX which is almost done, just rigging, the engine and some paintwork. Also my big and British builds and my keep, which now just needs a windscreen and some decals snd weathering.

I have started yet another GB proposal, Airco & Dehavilland and STOL/VTOL are in for next years Bunfight but I’d like to have a few more for the vote as I’m not that confident of any one proposal getting over the line.

Of course there are also these…..

Many of which are dangerously close to the Bunfight :)

I think you need a few more projects on the go. 🤣

Well I am also fencing my front garden ( put up five fence panels yesterday) and putting up gates owing to the fact that we got a new dog, who is also having the effect of my daily step count doubling.

But yes me being me I’m trying hard not to start anything new till my wip is down. So notwithstanding the APC I have only started four builds this month.

But I really must make an effort to knock off that top ten sooner rather than later :)

‘Irony’ noun: When the literal meaning of a statement is opposite to the intended meaning. 🤔

Still, you have chosen 1/24 scale so that much is highly admirable. After a four month delay there might be an update on my 1/24 Pzh2000 soon.

And there was me thinking it was like goldy, silvery or bronzy :)

Mojo is a delicate thing. I find myself working on whatever I’m most in the mood for not whatever’s been on the bench(or shelf) the longest, and then again  RL can impinge on my modelling time so much.

No ‘shortage of mojo’ problem with the PZH, just no spare time and no place to work on it. I am replacing my old shed and now the new one is nearly finished I might actually strike some blows on the PZH this week.

Just caught up with the PZH thread, it looks amazing. Can't wait to see it in camo.

I'll probably take a similar approach to the running gear but my plan for he tracks was to make a styrene master and resin cast the individual plates.
