A rare bird, if ever there was one ......    In-Progress build of a 1/144 Douglas C-74 Globemaster, as depicted in the film 'The Italian Job'. Another aircraft which I have wanted to build for a long time, and of which there are precious few views of it anywhere during it's 'Italian Job' scheme. An odd looking 'plane at the best of times, with it's huge fin and rudder and almost comically small cockpit canopy (the first ones even had tiny individual side-by-side bubble canopies
