gamevender
Well, it's done. Notice that the workmanship is not particularly precise. It wasn't on the real vehicles either, which is a happy coincidence with my skill level at building. You can see the whole build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235071218-172-british-improvised-apc-dublin-1916/&tab=comments#comment-3648772
Bullbasket
I guarantee you won't see another one of these. Nice work. John.

noelh
Well that's one model I'd never thought I'd see made. The fake firing ports weren't completely effective as apparently bullets did manage to find their way inside with obvious consequences. Excellent build though. Incidentally the railway works in Inchicore where it was built is still in use to this day although the days of building armoured cars are long gone. However they did build more armoured cars in later years, this time for the Irish army.
BKirwan
Great subject and an impressive result particularly given the scale. What did u use as the donor kit?
gamevender
Donor kit was the Roden London Bus kit. Used the frame and suspension as a starting point.
Xantippos
This is all sorts of amazing! I love kits of vehicles I didn't even know they existed. Awesome!
