Would anyone have knowledge of an Eastern Express/Micro Mir 1/144 scale MD-11 with Pratt & Whitney engines included in the kit? All the kits I can find that are available have GE engines (except the Authentic Airliners kits...I am specifically looking for the EE kit). Has anyone seen one? Were they ever made? Know of availability? Know of aftermarket P&W engines for this kit?

2 and a half years ago, Eastern Express touted a planned release of a JAL version with the Pratt & Whitney engines - but so far it still has not appeared.

Several other Airliner releases show a box-art picture on the side panel. If you freeze this video https://youtu.be/1RofNxNy3-I at 1:47, you can see it.

Cheers!

indeed thats what they planned, but according to my information the GE versions sales numbers were bad, so they did not continue that PW option. No surprise, if you see their prices. but that is another story, kind of a viscious circle. they have chosen the "B" business model, while zvezda has "A".

generally i have doubts that eastern express is still actively in business, because there were except for the MD90 no updates for months - no 2020 catalogue and no further releases of non special edition kits (MD80, Q400, DC10)
