1/32 Gloster Meteor F8 'Halestorm' project - If only...

OK, I have my Hong Kong Models 1/32 Gloster Meteor F4 which I am planning, with a very large dose of luck, to model on the RAAF 77 Squadron aircraft flown by Sgt. George Hale in Korea.

I also have visited the Temora Aviation Museum in New South Wales to photograph the last flying F8 which incidently has the markings of 'Halestorm':

To achieve this, I will need to find a the Fisher Model & Pattern F8 conversion set for the HK Models 1/32 Meteor F4.

https://fishermodels.indiemade.com/product/gloster-meteor-f8-fr9-conversion-set-132-scale

I noticed another build on Brit Modeller at https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234989893-132-meteor-f8-raaf-hk-modelsfisher-model-and-pattern/

But what are the chances of finding this conversion since Paul Fisher has unfortunately lost his house and business, presumably with moulds, from a bushfire in Paradise California in 2018??

If anyone has a set they no longer need...?

Watching the video, I noted a very distinctive engine sound, a recip kind of sound followed by the jet sound. Very interesting.

I do hope you find one ,

I was lucky enough to come across one of the 2nd gen conversion and a donor kit on Ebay for just over £100 or so 18 months ago, and it really does build in toa beautiful model.

I wasn't brave enough to do a silver aircraft , with all the cutting and filling required on it, so I took the really daft idea of doing a Camo'ed RAF F8, which required an interesting exercise in decal sourcing

I  believe that melodic thrum is from the compressors. Centrifugal flow engines rather than the axial flow we are all used to today.

I just managed to find a person on Large Scale Planes to sell me their Fisher F8 conversion set for this aircraft.  Now I need to find a source for 60 pound HVAR rockets in 1/32, probably the 3.5 inch type, as I am unsure if RAAF F8s carried the 5 inch HVARs.  Any ideas?
