reggie78usmc
Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vc flown by major Robert Levine, 4th Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Group, Tunisia 1943. This is a Tamiya 1/48 kit Mk Vb kit. The decals are aftermarket. This is my first time trying weather effects, they are not perfect but I am trying. fubar57
Looks okay to me. "Weathering" is pretty subjective. I rarely weather an aircraft; it had to be new or near new at sometime in its career

Bangor Lad
Very nice. It's already been said but weathering is very subjective and frequently, less, is more.
Jackson Duvalier
I tried to model Levine's Spitfire, but it didn't turn out as well as yours... in fact it didn't turn out at all. 😆 You're off to a pretty good start with the weathering.

markmcguire25
I think it looks great. I try something new on each build, but I've yet to try heavy chipping techniques, and I've been back at the "hobby" for several years now. Nice job!
SAT69
Very nicely done model and your first time weathering effort is admirable. May I ask where the stand came from?
