Kitkent
Two BMW M1 cars, the fat one is from Le Mans 1981 and is a very old Record resin kit;must have been produced in 1982 or 3. The normal M1 is a diecast Solido car completely dismantled and redone from scratch. A bit of too much sun on the roof of the car,it was too sunny! klubman01
Nice work. I bet that applying the white circle decals was an interesting job!
Spiny
Looks good, especially given it's only 1/43. I know there's lots of pictures of it gracing the web, but here's one of mine of the real thing (hoping the Google link works!) - looks pretty close to me:
keefr22
Must admit I've never seen the widebody M1 before - what a cracking looking car! Nice model of it - & the 'normal' one too! Is the widebody a Group 5 car? Keith
Kitkent
Thanks Keith and Trevor, and Spiny? I think the big one is group 5 but not quite sure as Le Mans change their classes almost every year. Yes and it's lucky that I like decalling, love the BMW M1 and art cars generally- which means a lot of decals....might add a picture of the real car tomorrow. Cooper645
@Spiny the image isn’t showing for me, make sure the photo is in a shared album and then try again, I have dramas when the albums aren’t shared. @Kitkent nicely finished, I love the shape and liveries of these cars, I did the map of France one. If I do another it would be In the Nordschleife livery.
