perdu
Point of order (had to be me didn't it? ) That hook. Surely that will cause bolters all day (and night) long. Doesn't it need to have a forward facing bit of 'ook 'anging off it to grab the number three wire with? . . Further point of order, never in my long life seen a Matchbox Sea Venom looking so good I reckon the engine spools up when you are out of the room. Absolutely brilliant thread of a stupendous model, thanks for sharing the build with me Johnny. 12 1

I figured they wouldn’t get that bit wrong. 🤔 do you mean a little more on the actual hook? I’ve just looked at some pics and all I can see is a slightly more....hookier hook. 1

The Spadgent
Hey you lot. Sorry for the lack of update on the venom. I have been away with friends, a last minute camping trip to ludlow. Not far from home and oh so beautiful. A real tonic to the current CraZyNesS. we found a parlour pub that was rather spectacular. very gothic! Which is in line with my next build. 🦇 which has also taken some time from this. but as Mr Badger says. “Get on with it you fool” Ok Ok. Here’s the penultimate post of this build. The wiper is built. those two widgets are the other aerials. the bang seat got a flory wash before a mat coat. Really happy with that. 😇 And from the side. And the two together. The “knuckle” got built and added. That is now painted. ❤️ The last few boom aerials got added. As did the nose aerial. Oooh sneak peek. The seat is in. And the other one. 😇❤️ just have to take a shot of the Ghost. It soo pretty. And a few last glimpses of the And that is pretty much it. 🙌 🦈 The control column has gone in too. 😍 looking forward to the RFI. I’ll do a sigh off post before I post the RFI up from here. Thank you all for the input I have had over this build. It’s been amazing fun. Especially @rob Lyttle for generously supplying the kit. (Thank you sir) hope you all like the last few touches and possibly consider joining me on my new bonkers adventure in plastic. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 so will that by five builds on the go. For a fleeting moment. 😂🙈😍 Take care and as always. Happy modelling. Johnny. 🦈 PS. 6 minutes ago, rob Lyttle said: I am SO GLAD I passed this on to you ‼️ Absolute result, Johnny 😍 🎈🎈🎈🎉🎂🎉🎈🎈🎈 No no. CedB
Superb finish Johnny - oh, those seats! Parlour pub? Sounds like an establishment of ill repute to me… did you get out safely? Over to the new build I go…

71chally
Looks really nice Johnny, the seats work in particular is outstanding. That pub looks like the sort of place you don't want to leave, always fancied opening a tea rooms in Ludlow, when I retire... 1
