Diesel Gypsy
Hi everyone I hope you're all well. I haven't posted for a while so as a reintroduction I thought I'd share this racing truck from the 2011 (I think) Motorsports group build. I hope you like it. Alpha Delta 210
That's awesome Dave. The first time I saw the truck racing at Brands Hatch, found myself laughing out loud at the antics!
keefr22
Not a truck guy other than race ones as they are cool - and that's a very cool model of one! Welcome back Dave, top job! Keith

I agree, It's crazy racing with some slightly dubious tactics that adds to the excitement. It's a bit like dodgems on steroids 😃 4 hours ago, keefr22 said: Not a truck guy other than race ones as they are cool - and that's a very cool model of one! Welcome back Dave, top job! Keith Thanks Keith. It's been a long since I've posted here but I've a few projects in the pipeline nearing completion. Paul H
Very cool model! Was the kit of a racing version, or did you convert it into one?
Diesel Gypsy
Thanks Paul. It is a Revell kit that I bought yonks ago. From what I remember the truck parts were moulded in white plastic while the racing parts were in a different colour, brown I think. it appeared to me that Revell took a standard Merc truck kit then added a couple of extra sprue's to give you the racing truck option. Paul H
Great - thank you for the info! I've never built a truck model, but this really appeals, and I'd make space in the display cabinet if only I could find one at the right price. However having just looked online & seen how expensive they are...
richellis
That’s nice. They did this in the green BP livery too and I have that one. Revell also did the Phoenix MAN race truck, a red and a yellow version, I have the red in the stash also
