Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

Well Staycation time and I have my daughter back first time back home since February been doing some nice things around the Northumberland coast and Beamish museum has now reopened and booked for tomorrow get our season tickets renewed

Slow progress therefore with this build but an afternoon to myself has got me up to this all railings fitted and rigging done some minor bits and pieces to add and then should be done soon

That's just a wonderful build! Everything is coming together to produce a whole exceeding the sum of the parts.

Great aspiration for my meager skills.

:clap2: Seriously Impressive!

I do like the fact that there's not much rigging on a Fletcher, may tempt me to look at a 1/700 kit.

Thank you all for following along with this one  It started with Lockdown in April for me anyway and I am now calling this done Stars and Stripes has been raised and name plate added just over 4 month that is a fairly quick build for me.

RFI post to follow  https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235077938-uss-fletcher/

Now for a slightly smaller build back to 1/350
