Quick sketches - Vulcans

So not having really drawn anything in ages, I decided at about 1 on the morning yesterday that I would try to sketch a vulcan or two. The outlines were traced from photos but the rest was either done from memory or based on more photos

First one, a Vulcan B1a

Second, much better one, a Vulcan B1

This is what was traced and I went from there freehand

Built up the shapes and began to add details

A lot of details and an attempt at shading, just needed to do the last few bits

Easy enough to do the last few bits.

I'm no art student by I'm pretty happy with these

Nice..

a little tip when working on perspectives, hold your drawing up in front of a mirror and if any errors, they reveals themselves instantly in the mirror

Great to see you've got the pencils out and doing some drawing again.

I'm not sure about the idea of being up at 1 in the morning (I prefer sleep except when being forced to stay up on a nightshift myself), but nice job on your Vulcans.
