David Womby
This is a minor conversion to represent Mirage F1AZ 218 of 1 Squadron SAAF c.1996. The decals were a disappointment doing this. They were yellowed by the topcoat that decalmaker had put on. I managed to make a copy and get most of the yellow out but I had to up the contrast to do it and that made the dark grey roundels and numbers turn out black. They went on over the glosscoat fine but today I put my normal ModelMaster Flat topcoat on and the decals showed a lot of silvering. So it's doomed to the back of the display case. BKirwan
Am just finishing one of these up in 1:48 scale in Border war livery. Its a sleek looking aircraft and you have done a nice job of it. Don't put it too far back in the display case.
