Junkers Ju-86 airliner, modified Italeri 1/72nd kit

Recommended Posts

I have never seen snow.  That is a lie, I saw snow on top of a smoking mountain miles away in New Zealand.  I was at a place called, I can't remember, some army base on the North Island that was a desert with grass that seemed like it was ten feet tall.  We were there for 25 days and it rained for 20 of those.  New Zealand is a Beautiful place.

If we didn't have these two we would be going there for a little holiday.  The one on the right would fret himself to death if mummy went away.

14C is cold for us.

Any way brilliant modeling as usual Claudio.

Hi Chris.

If we are talking about weather in Canada; my Daughter sent me a photo of their garden in Whistler that she took on Sunday as they were having lunch, in the middle of the picture was a big brown bear wandering across the lawn, not your usual visitor.   Robin.

Stuart

Thanks, Stuart

Not very high, really, the workbench is about a meter high.

Cheers

The masks to paint the interior are measured, cut and applied to the used kit:

Then the provisional mask strip is removed, and the exterior window masks applied:

Meanwhile the transparencies are bathed in acrylic floor polish:

And the gluing edges protected to star interior basic painting:

The window internal masks of the rescue kit are removed, and the clear windows on the new kit are glued in place. The wardrobes in the foyer are added, the small cargo bay of the new kit is painted metal inside.
Work on the interior can now commence in the form of curtains (almost all closed in the rescue kit, since no seats will be provided for that one) and perhaps some lighting:

It could be that, that's how he produces so many models in such a short time.

Like the elves and the shoemaker story? Now we know why Moa builds those tiny toilets!

they have their demands

And every time they build one, YOU go and stick it in a model plane!! .

AND the paper rolls too!

How mean is THAT

.... unless they live IN the planes, in which case that's quite a helpful thing to do and I expect they're all very grateful... 🥳

They are classified as essential workers.

But they have their demands, toilets is just one of them.

Well, don’t forget what happened to the shoemaker. He and his wife decided to be kind, and made the elves little clothes to wear. The elves took them and never returned. So, don’t treat them too well, else they’ll leave you holding the bag someday.

You think that may the reason for the general scarcity of toilet paper?

Those elves, hobbits, and such, after all...
