GREG DESTEC
Hi, Here is my Airfix Bf 109 in Romainian markings. Totally brush painted using Revell & Humbrol acrylics. Markings are OOTB as is the build. I think it makes a nice change from the Luftwaffe options, and looks good beside my other "regular" 109's. I had to scratch build the Armour windscreen as the front canopy in the kit didn't have it for this version. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Greg 25

Vlad
Great finish! I agree, the overall green plus all that yellow really make for a very bright and attractive looking model.

Vinnie
Lovely job, Greg. A very colourful '109. Almost makes the camo redundant.

I guess you need a bit of variety to get any notice taken on a 109 build these days! Cheers Greg 👍 57 minutes ago, Vlad said: Great finish! Hi Vinnie, Yes, with all that yellow it does make the camo seem pointless!
Graham Boak
That's one reason why aircraft have covers for the engine. Bright markings can easily be covered up when the aircraft is on the ground - which is usually the main purpose of the upper-surface camouflage anyway.
