Thomas V.
Great news, Zlin Trainer family was operated by numerous air forces and para military organizations. Not but, please Eduard make Arado 96/Avia C.2, in my opinion very important plane that has been poorly kitted due to its significance as primary advanced trainer of the Luftwaffe, has both Czech connection due to local Avia production, both during and after the war. Follow Trainer family with Arado 96 please!
Homebee
3D renders Source: https://www.facebook.com/EduardCompany/posts/3368637419817848 Quote we are introducing the 1/48th scale Trener project today. I understand, this is very, very Czech or, better said, Czechoslovak project, not so much interesting for abroad modelers. However, it is good to know, that Treners were flown in many countries worldwide, in significant amounts. These trainers, which is a meaning of the name Trenér, served in France, Italy, Great Britain, as well as in Germany, Poland, Yugoslavia, Soviet Union and in many, many other countries. And, they serve even today. About the project: - You can see many versions here. Which is not all, because these version have even more subversions. Note most of these subversions served with two various engines, with Minor 6-III first, and latter were modernized using the M-137 engine. Both engines including cowlings are going to be included in all these single kits. - These aircraft were and they still are very variable. So, if do you understand Trener variants, and if yes, you have all my respect, don´t warry if you will see anything incorrect in the pictures. All parts to build correct configuration will be included! - All the small parts will be included in common parts frames, as in most other Eduard kits. - The only exception is Z-526AFS, which is prepared to have exclusive set of unique frames. Work In Progress
Oh, yes please. I'm pretty much legally required to do Z-526A G-AWAR in British aerobatic team colours, June 1970. And possibly a fixed-gear 226 too.
upnorth
WOW! That might be enough to get me back into 1/48 for at least one model. If they do a civil packaging and include decals for Z-126 OK-IFG in the last colours she wore before going to a museum, I'm definitely in: 4

Just floated the idea with @rs2man to do a "before", "during" and "after" tryptych. I mean, I'm probably going to need custom decals anyway so I may as well get some use out of them

Then, there should be a lot of Trener (‘Trainer’) aircraft in Plzen, as well. The reason for that is that they will be invited, and the reason why they will be invited is that Plzen will see the release of our new 1:48th scale kit. This will, again, be a Limited Edition issue kit covering the Z-226 Trener in various versions. Specifically, they will include the Z-226B, Z-226T, Z-226M and the Z-226MS. Technically, the Trener is slated to be a new item for November, but was originally intended as such for OctoEDITORIAL 4 eduard INFO Eduard - September 2021 ber to coincide with E-day. Our mistake was that we were not able to finish the model in time to make it a part of October’s list of new kits, which were slated to go out on the 15th of September. But due to the work of my colleagues, who did everything they could to remedy the situation, the model can be premiered on October 2nd in Plzen. Or at least, that is how things are panning out, but the kit is still not quite ready and time is running down. If the kit is still not ready for normal release, we will at least have the plastic sprues, boxes, and decals to show off. But, if we have all these individual components ready, chances are that the kit will be set to go out the door. But, in any case, if the Trener kits are not in Plzen, the real thing will be, and that in itself will be worthwhile. (...) V.P.
