MarkSH
AIRFIX 1/48 JUNKERS Ju.87B-1 Afternoon all, Here is my entry into the Ju.87 Single Type Group Build which is currently ongoing. Airfix's very enjoyable and easy to build 1/48 Ju.87B-1 (#A07114) I have built the kit mainly out of the box with the exception of replacement seats as the kit pilot seat was damaged on arrival plus the pitot was replaced with brass tube. The big downside of the kit is the clear parts and the way they fit or rather don't fit especially the 'Gunner's' rear sliding part which should 'drape' over the fuselage, it really just doesn't look right at all without some serious modification. The model has been weathered with Tamiya weathering powder and an oil paint filter. I have used some figures from the ICM #48082 set and the Tamiya Citroen Traction 11CV 'Staff car' to add some scale and perspective (both lovely little kits). Yes I know the markings for the Citroen are from the Eastern front but hey, I like to think they are on Le grand Tour.... I have scratch built the bomb trolley and whilst it was great fun to build I appreciate that it is a little overscale. As always comments and critique happily received: All in all a very enjoyable project. Cheers, Mark. 33
Toryu
Extraordinary! Wonderful model plus car plus figures. I wished my figures would look so realistic.
Vinnie
Lovely modelling, Mark and as Toryu says the paintwork on the figures is exceptional.

Kind regards, Stix Thanks and yes we are not too bad, although we are pretty confident we have had Covid-19 in the household or at least had to make that assumption, my son worked 4 days at the Cheltenham festival and subsequently felt typical symptoms, as did I later on. However that being said it was very mild, pronounced flu symptoms in my case and little else. We are all on the mend now, thankfully. Hope you and yours are healthy! PlaStix
Hi Mark. I'm glad your are all recovering well. It does sound like there's a fair chance you all had it. I'm fairly certain it went round at my work well before the lockdown and before it was really thought to be an issue or of concern! - We had people off ill who had not been off sick, either at all or for many years, with what sounded like very similar symptoms to Covid-19. We're both currently well - working from home and a bit bored - but otherwise okay. These are very strange times. Take care. Kind regards, Stix
