OUR MISSION

WE WILL BRING THE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN THE REALM OF COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN(CAD), 3D PRINTING AND PART MANUFACTURING TO DELIVER AFFORDABLE, EXTREMELY ACCURATE AND HIGHLY DETAILED RESIN AIRCRAFT MODEL KITS FOR MODELLERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.

OUR MODEL KITS ARE DESIGNED WITH THE LATEST DESIGN TOOLS USING HUNDREDS OF TYPE SPECIFIC MANUFACTURER TECHNICAL DRAWINGS SO THERE IS LITTLE, IF ANY, COMPROMISE ON DESIGN ACCURACY.

OUR KITS WILL FEATURE SOLID RESIN FUSELAGES AND WINGS, SO THERE WILL BE NO WORRIES ABOUT POORLY FITTING FUSELAGE AND WING HAVLES. THE TOLERANCES FOR PART FITTING WILL BE TIGHT, SO NO SANDING INSERT TABS TO CORRECT DIHEDRAL AND SIMILAR PITFALLS OF ABS PLASTIC MODELLING.

STARTING IN 2020, AEROMODL WILL RELEASE A LINE OF BOEING 737 KITS IN THE ORIGINAL, CLASSIC AND NEXT-GENERATION FAMILIES IN 1/72 SCALE.

Is the big planes kit so bad that we need a full resin one?  Must confess the new resin looks good in the CAD drawings so I am certainly curious how it develops!

Been on their site and the detail looks impressive..

cheers, Jan

The BPK kit is imho very good but I guess there is a market for people who do not want to tackle a plastic kit with numerous parts. The detailing on this resin kit look splendid indeed but, afaic, I will still go the plastic route.

The undercarriage being resin, will it carry the full weight of the model?

Only if they cast it in steel. I too am wondering how much it will weigh. I would have thought a hollow shell might have been more practical.

it will be a rotocast fuselage, not solid, so its probably not that heavy.

𝐁𝟕𝟑𝟕-𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐈𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

We'll have a big website update very soon with photos of nearly all the parts making up our B737-200 kit in 1/72. We are still behind schedule(no deliveries yet!) but we've been busy making sure all of the parts meet our and your expectations.

Notes about the photos - some of you will receive kits with white casted parts but we decided to cast them all in gray from now on.

You'll also receive a number of directly 3D printed detail pieces(such as landing gear legs, antennas/probes and the wheel well detail insert). These will come as frosted, amberish clear parts and some may need a light sanding prior to priming or painting. In some of the photos, I've painted the frosted detail parts a dark gray to bring out the details.

We'd like to be further along but there have been some obstacles that we've overcome to make these kits happen!

I'll be sending out a newsletter shortly with more news along with a proper photo shoot of the "prototype" all put together. You can sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of our home page.

Thanks for looking!

Neil

Some more photos. Cockpit glass master V3.0 is due back soon, which will be the last piece of the puzzle.

Should give an idea of how the kit will look out of the box.

be still my beating heart in the immortal words of Captain Steven Hiller " Ive got to get me one of these", and a Shamrock scheme to boot happy days

thanks for the heads up

regards

Eamonn

I ordered one of these back in June,I understand the lockdown has affected the rollout.

I emailed Neil with a query a few months ago and he was very quick to reply.

I contacted him a week or two ago to see if there was any progress, but no reply.

I hope all is well over there.Happy to wait.

Also concerned about the weight on 3D printed U/C
