Baldy
Well I can't compete with Sven's quality but I did luckily snag a few LA F-15A/Bs when I visited Nellis in October 91. We were outside the base and I believe this area is now inaccessible sadly. I don't think the 555 TFTS kept their Eagles for much longer after our visit and Luke AFB fairly quickly turned Viper. 76-0110 76-0037 77-0157 Cheers Malcolm
Boman
Nice! The 555th was inactivated March 25th 1994, then re-activated with F-16's when moving to the 31FW April 1st 1994.
Red Dot
Nice photos. They look like they were taken at Cheyenne Avenue, which is still accessible, Andy

You could drive straight into the desert and park up quite close to the boundary fence. Now the area has been fenced off way back. Never tried the Cheyenne Avenue area - they have always been taking off and landing over the desert when I have visited. Cheers Malcolm
Red Dot
In that case, it has definitely gone, as the police never let you cross the road from the Speedway. Cheers Andy
