Roman Cornicen (Andrea 54mm)

Hi y'all!

I'm done with that Andrea figure.

I had to add some matter in the lower back of the figure as it was curiously lacking some volume there. Otherwise nothing wrong with this miniature.

I also added a small bracelet of magi sculpt to hide the joint between the right hand holding the cornu and the arm..

Iwik,

I like this a lot. May I ask how you've done the grass? I need to do some shortly and am a bit fearful of it.

TIA

Alan

Very nice. You've got some really smooth blends there.

Oils or acrylic?

Hi!

I only paint with acrylics.

Sorry for the late answer...

Hi!

It's artificial grass for train models I believe. Bought a looooonnng time ago.

Spread some with glue on the base before sprinkling some grass on top of it.

Hit the bottom of the base with a small hammer before the glue sets in; it makes the grass stand up.
