Hi all,

here my ne ICM A-26B Invader in 1:48. Nice kit with some fit problems on the nose cone and engines. Add some Eduard PE´s and Master guns. Decals are OOB and have a pretty good quality

Nice finish and build. Does the kit come with six gun option?? How did you achieve the amazing bare metal finish?

Very convincing model, it could pass for a genuine vintage photo if you try B&W effects. Splendid work, the best I’ve seen made from this kit.

I used some Alclad colors. First Airframe Aluminium, than some spots in polished Aluminium, dark Aluminium and in"normal" Aluminium.

this one turned out very nice - always liked the bird and did it more than justice.

Stunning work. Nicely weathered, very realistic... looks like a well used invader.

Another beautiful model Mathy - I like the metal finish and find that Alclad is still my go-to metallic finish. One thing I would ask - Alclad airframe aluminium is one of the  - shall we say - less durable shades. How do you go about masking over it?

Cheers

Malcolm

Great Invader mathy!  :clap2: It's simply amazing to me that you knock out one masterpiece after another; incredible work from a master scale modeler!  😀

I maseked it with Tamiya tape. Very important for all metalic Alclad colours is that you have to use a surface primer. I use for that MRP-255 black Acryl paints, wich works very well.
