Tony Whittingham
Hello people of the tread and tyres, I usually inhabit the aerial side of this forum, but today I’m looking for a load for a modern transport aircraft. I wanted to use a LAV, tied down and loaded, or about to be loaded. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, TW
Richard E
Hi Tony I'm a fellow aircraft builder so don't know how significantly the USMC's vehicles differ from the Canadian Force's LAVs, particularly in the one true scale, but Trumpeter produce a number of different versions of the LAV in 1/72nd scale. Hope this helps Edited March 26, 2020 by Richard E

Old pro
Depends on if you mean the LAV II or III? The Canadians really only used the LAV II as the basis for the Coyote recon vehicle, the main fleet consist of the LAV III Kodiak, the only kits available are of American versions, although you can get Resin models from modeltrans no idea of the quality though.
