A very simple diorama, I'm still learning!, a Panther set in Normandy 1944.

Hi Clogged,

It may be simple, but it's very effective. I do like your figure-painting and the grass is done very well. I do think you could have sunk the Panther into the ground a bit more, and some mud and bits of grass stuck in the track 'treads' would be a great added detail. I really like the blue sky background in the photos. Perhaps a country landscape backdrop would make for great photos as well.

Hi Badder

Definitely agree with all you say.  I went very  light with the weathering.  I think I might go back to it sometime and do what you suggest.  I don't present these at shows, so somtimes I will just quickly move onto yet another project! My problem is I will sometimes have more than one project going at the same time.

Tell me about it! I have 2 large dioramas on the go and don't expect to get either one finished for at least 10 months, without distractions such as actually building a kit AFV.
