Had some extra decals so I decided to get creative and build a MIG-29 with Philippine Air Force decals and splinter camo. this is a Trumpeter Kit.

solid kit! fitment was decent and great detail.  The landing gear was a challenge.

Very neat model! Seems that a Phillipine AF delegation made a trip to Sweden to get ideas for camouflage while the AJS 37 Viggen was in active service… 😉

Kind regards,

Joachim

I had read that they were trialling it at one point (eventually deciding not to go ahead with it).

Possible that Mikoyan and Gurevich would have done a special livery on one for that purpose? :) (I don't know if manufacturers would do that for a sale or just use basic airframes).

Looking at this think Philippines should definitely have gone for it on looks alone .. :D
