John Masters
I sent a letter to the Help Desk at Eduard regarding my hopes for an Eduard Bf-109 in the Gentleman's Scale, 1/72nd. This is the response! So...2021 I hope. It'll give me time to build all the AZ/KoPro kits I have in the stash! Crossed fingers folks... -John
MiG-Mech
This is not new and this is no hope for release. Neither soon nor in 2021.
LansVVS
This is strange, they answered me a little differently. Quote Hello, we are going to release this kit at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year. caughtinthemiddle
No less than 50 for me. Of course, of each basic type (E, F, G). 5-7 K-4s will also be useful

gioca
May be a change in their plan: pospone the 109 for having the Merlin Spitfire MkI/V in time for BoB celebration ? As for the 1/48 scale ... where they planned a new Spitfire MkI for August/September. It was a surprise and now you know the true.

John Masters
Wow! What is this, the Spanish Inquisition? If I had known how much vitriol and controversy this post would have made I wouldn't have posted it! God help me if I try to talk about PC-10! Hahahahaha! Edited March 25, 2020 by John D.C. Adam Poultney
I'd like to see Eduard doing a later model of 109 in 1/72 first before doing the earlier variants.
Graeme H
Not sure what model Bf109 you are talking about, if a G, curious to know what's wrong with the Tamiya one?
John Masters
Just now, Graeme H said: what's wrong with the Tamiya one? Probably nothing but I like the attention to detail Eduard offers.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
25 minutes ago, Graeme H said: what's wrong with the Tamiya one Absolutely Nothing other than cost they're great kits. However judging by Eduards 1/72 Fw.190’s prices, if they charged the same or similar. I could get two sets of over-trees and an A/M decal sheet in 1/72 for the cost of one Tamiya G6.

Giorgio N
If Eduard release their 1/72 bf.109 they will offer one thing that Tamiya don't offer: variety! Tamiya's G6 is a great kit but only allows to build a G6 of a certain production range. Eduard would likely offer several variants and subvariants and supply all those details that may have changed over time within the same variant.
