BlueNosers352nd
Got another one on order, and a nozzle. But I am having the darndest time getting the slight bend outta this needle. Tried the rolling on cardboard technique on saw on YouTube. Tried rolling it on glass like I've done in the past. The .3mm needle of the HP-C Plus just doesn't wanna budge. Thoughts? Only have to wait a few more days for the new one. Just dumbfounding.
Kev The Modeller
You need to roll it between two sheets of glass or, use some other hard flat material, steel, ceramic tile etc. Edited March 28, 2020 by Kev The Modeller
Steve Noble
I'd just wait for the new one to be honest and scrap the old one. It's very difficult to get them straight again once they've been bent in my opinion...
nheather
There is a tool called SharpenAir that claims to straighten and polish needles. I did look at it when it first came out but passed in the end because of the price. You need to repair around four needles to make it worthwhile, which seemed too expensive for me specifically, I simply don’t use the airbrush enough to bend needles that often. krow113
I used my 6" s/s ruler on a plate of glass , under my finger tip rolling back/forth.
