Faraway
And so it begins. I'm using the Eduard PE, which although it can be a fiddle, I think is good. No problems so far, quite a simple cockpit. Wasn't quite sure of the angle the yellow ended levers should be at, so if any one can cast some light on this, I'd be grateful. Little bit of paint touchup and detailing. But so far so good. As long as I don't catch this wretched virus, this should be a fun build. Jon.

franky boy
Nice work so far and a fast build to.  I think Tamiyas Emil gets over looked these days with the newer Airfix and Eduard kits about but imho it’s still a really nice kit.  Look forward to more progress.  James
matto21
Nice work. I have this kit in my stash. I prefer later 109's but might give this a go sometime.  Looking forward to more progress.  Matt

Comes across as a small, delicate aircraft.
Faraway
Sprayed with grey primer. Then masked off the top surfaces and sprayed the rest light blue. Will mask off the blue tomorrow and apply one of the camo colours.
Marklo
Nice work so far. Looking forward to the camo. Seeing as how it’s an E3 with the early style canopy, If it were me I’d be going for the prewar full 70/71 splinter rather than the box art style. But that’s just me. Faraway
Oops. Just noticed, I put 103 in the title, what a prat. Obviously its a 109.
Faraway
Ready for the decals.
Faraway
Nearly done. All decals applied, just waiting for everything to dry off, then coating of matt or semi-matt varnish. Then I'll post in 'Ready for inspection'. I hope you've enjoyed watching this little plane take shape, as much as I've enjoyed building it. Not sure if I'm going to weather it yet, maybe a little.
