I used decal solution - I think it's shiny just because there was a bright lamp point directly at it. Anyway - off to sea with that one. AW Yeah it's about the length of my middle finger, maybe as long as the fuselage of a WW1 plane in 1/72. Not much to it though so these 1/700 subs are great for a quick fix.
