Tired looking HMS Dragon

HMS Dragon arrived in Portsmouth today certainly looks like she needs some TLC.

Passed out from rum, s*d*my and the lash probably. There's always one who can't take it.

 

The ship's not in a bad shape for 8 months - no pre-shading to be seen!

Takes me back to a saying my Dad had, he was ex RN wartime service, " When in port a matelot enjoys wine, women and song, after a few days at sea he only has rum, b*m and concertina!"

Pre-shading, for me, is rather "The Emperor's New Clothes". I don't like it, I don't think it looks realistic. That said I'm not a fan of the chipping effects used on the bow of this ship either and that rust is too orange...
