Here's my 1/48 Hunter T.8 in FRADU colours, built for the In The Navy GB using the Airfix kit and the excellent AeroCraft models conversion (many thanks @Ali62!). Build thread is here.

Hi Julian

Thanks for posting the pictures of the completed model it looks fantastic well done.

At the moment the Navy version is available, the RAF decal version is sold out BUT I am due to get some more in the next few weeks.......well providing that he mail gets through from the printers....a little further away due to well you know what.

However I am sure this build will convince a few the RN version is great, I will also be providing a 'HARLEY' light nose soon so other do not need to do the conversion par that you did.

cheers Ali

Very nice. Reminded me so much of my flight in such a beast in November 1980. I flew in XL584 (also coded 871 at that time) which had the later Light Aircraft Grey /Post Office Red (rather than dayglo orange) scheme. I produced a painting of the aircraft returning to Yeovilton called 'Back from the Thursday War':

Really nice work, well done. Nice also that it's been portrayed while sporting a robbed fin from a grey/green cammo kite......adds something a little interesting.

Cheers

Lovely - unusual colours and great to see the 2 seater.  Good to know the conversion kit works well.

Luvverly! Can't ever have too many Hunter models. Love the scheme, too.
