stevehnz
Very nice that/those. The Yunnan is the sort of plane that has really grown on me over the years though I've not wanted to do a silver one before now. That has changed after seeing this, really colourful with those markings. Steve.
72modeler
Roll out the 'Barrel!' Very nice build, Steve! Another one of Heller's classics that cleans up very nicely in the right hands. Well done! Mike
Spitfire31
Very neat n/m trio! Of course, my vote goes to the J 29E 'Tunnan' (in fact, according to the designer, Lars Brising, he himself came up with the 'barrel' nickname when he saw his drawings). The 'E' was a transitional type, including the improved dog toothed wing but without the reheat feature of the final 'F' model. The Heller kit got the shapes right, except for the main gear being much too long, causing the model to lean forward, whereas the real machine has a marked sit-back attitude on the ground. Very nice work on one of my fave aeroplanes! Kind regards, Joachim
