Sharing a specific file via Onedrive (as a read-only link) does not mean everyone has access to your entire Onedrive.
It is just that file. And you can withdraw the sharing at any time.

I am happy to share it but there does not seem to be any interest in it that I have seen.  Also I am unsure the correct area to place it so others can access the file

You could add the link in a post on the reference thread..

As for the file itself,  use the 'share' option, untick allow editing and then generate a file link.

Back to our regular programming: pre-order for the Michigan F-4C placed.

Like @Giorgio N, I do have a decal sheet from the late 1980s around but I expect they don't stand a chance against fresh new ones.

Question for @DaveJL and the other hosts. Im building an RAAF “E”. Those were converted to “G’s” when returned to the USAF. Im thinking of doing a second build as the same plane but in its later life as a “G”. Seeing as this would be the same plane but 15-20 years later, should I do a new build thread or stay in the one I have ?

Up to you mate! If it's a separate model, I'd be inclined just to start a new thread and possibly link your old one in?

I found this site while looking for something else, has lots of awesome photos of JASDF Phantoms, and others.

Great photo reference, plus if you go diving into the site their are heaps of other awesome photos!

Remember when Japanese aircraft had to have all the paint falling off? These birds are beautiful.

They're doing another run of the EJ-Kai Phantom Forever kit

And they're also doing it's brother the Go For It! plane

They've also got a questionnaire they've put out with random prizes. Included in the questions is what kit you'd like to see them produce next, Be sure to tell them why it's an Israeli Phantom!

48ers sold out before I got home from work.  They only had 24 available.  :(

I just hope the guys that got them, got them to build them...not scalp on eBay for 2x or 3x the price.

A couple Phantom kits bundled with extras have come up in a deceased estate auction. A few people may be interested in.

I found out about this a couple hours ago from a mate so I have no affiliation with the seller and can't speak to their credibility or the condition of the goods

HASEGAWA: 1:48 scale Limited edition F-4EJ Phantom II "ADTW 60th Anniversary" boxed model kit with masks, photo etch and aftermarket seatbelts of some kind.

The instructions for my 1/72 Hobby 2000 F-4C tell me to fill the panel lines for the in-flight refueling probe on the stbd side of the cockpit. I think that this is because the kit is based on a USN F-4 and the USAF F-4C had the fuel filler behind the cockpit on the spine of the aircraft.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Yes the air force boom receptacle is on the spine. The USN/USMC uses probe/drogue from the starboard directly outside the backseater’s right arm.

You're still waiting on decals anyways...so it was never going to happen.  :tomato:

Glad to hear they are finally clear of what is hopefully the last hurdle.

well I do have a slightly dodgy set that are for the VF-31 F-4J, the markings were very similar, just some wee differences in font size.

But with the build schedule being soooo busy (plus work at the moment) it's best to leave this one until later in the year now.

Hi Enzo,  @Enzo Matrix

I just noticed that the the STGB finishes on 12 Nov, but The Gallery locks on 21 Nov.

So, does this mean we have a bit more time? :D🤞

Just noticed that myself! I could use an extra week
