FinnAndersen
This is the Marker aircraft to the famous BR114 of 103 M.U. at Abukir, Egypt 1942 The kit was assembled AOOB (Almost of of the box) as it has a Hasegawa IX canopy and the Pavla set "Supermarine Spitfire HF Mk.VI + decal sheet" for the cockpit rear bulkhead and the compressor intake. The set has a 4 bladed spinner, but this looks awful and I replaced it with a Eduard IX item. Painted with Xtracolor. I'm not sure that I like the look of this one. It's certainly different from your normal Vb or Vc, with the four bladed propellor, but the Vokes filter just repels me 😀 Enjoy /Finn

Sky Keg
I agree Finn. The Vokes Filter on the iconic Spitfire just looks wrong in so many ways but yet I find it right at home on the Hurricane. 🤔 Go figure!!!!! Nice results on your Spitfire!!!!! 👍 Mike

If you do it my way, it's a relatively fast build of an unusual Spitfire, but something that certainly stands out. /Finn
