Mitsubishi F-2A in 6.Sqn Special Markings in 1:48

As always an absolute highlight, even if in some places the weathering is a little too much for me. Japanese machines in particular are very well maintained and rarely show signs of aging. Nevertheless, the model looks great and can only congratulate.

Great work! Amazing model! Did you use any PE in the cockpit? Apart from the Aires Aces II seat? I´ve been lloking for ages for a cockpit detail ser for the F-2, but Eduard never released one, only for the exterior. Beaver Corp and Platz released a cockpit set mas it´s sold out everywhere.

I used Eduard PE's 48-478. Here you find some details for the cockpit. But Instruments are not included. For my model I used some fine decals for the main panel.

Here the instrument panel. For me it is ok for 1:48

Love this model. The scheme, the paintjob, weathering, everything! Fantastic!

How was the kit to build? I've always wanted to get one, and missed my chances.

Thanks for the pic Mathy! I see that set 48478 has parts for the IP and even a small print sheet. But the complete set is not coloured. But better than having none of course.

Eduard did release F-2A and -B sets, but a long time ago

Andy

Yes, but those sets were not coloured which is a pity.

Hi Mathy,

Fabulous model man! Excellent work. I am a sucker for blue aircraft paint schemes so I simply love it!

I would very much like to see some of your WIP!

Best,

Nikola
