Rudolf Sinner's Messerschmitt Me 262

Recommended Posts

Hello guys! Today I made the final push with the Tamiya kit and finished it in two hours.

I forgot to install the armoured headrest because Tamiya didn't show it in the instructions, and by the time I found it, the canopy was firmly in place.

Great job. 👌 Just doing the exact same scheme on the airfix 72nd kit...so it's nice to see what it should look like when (or if) mine ever gets finished 🙄

Sounds nice, do you have a WiP in here?

I'm not sure that canopy is firmly in place. I think you could get it off easily.  Then get the missing part in and reseat the rear canopy without the gaps.

Other than the canopy it is a good build.

I don't want to risk breaking the canopy, so I'll leave it as is.

Funny you should say that. I was cutting up my Stuka canopy last night and the dam thing got a crack in it. Now I'm forced to use that annoying  Airfix canopy.

I suppose it is punishment  for my comment here. 🤔
