Karaya Supermarine Sea Lion II - 1922 Schneider Cup winner - 1/72nd resin

And decaling begins.

As explained during the build the kit is missing some decals, that Arctic Decals added to their set, also perfecting the rest.

Only the bottom surfaces received the registrations, no photo shows them on top. We could assume they were there, but maybe they weren't, as it was the case with other racers.

I do have the decals to add, if need be and new material shows them:

What a stunning build. I've put a cap on just so I can doff it 🤠

Thanks, Mike

I must confess that it is with a deep sense of relief that I complete this build, NOT an easy one.

Depending on weather, I may do the photo session tomorrow, and then to the box! Phew!!!!

I'm watching a few of these Karaya Sea Lions on ebay after admiring your build, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet, just because I know they are beyond my current skill set!  One day ...  (And a Silverwings Supermarine Southampton!)

Another recap for myself. Beautiful, looking forward to the photos.

Thanks Stuart.

A cloudy day, very light drizzle, no photos, may be in the afternoon?

Cheers

Thanks Adrian, I think I will go now for one of those pop together, no glue, five-part kits. 😋

Kinder Egg were thinking of you when they made this then!
