BlueNosers352nd
Nice looking Catfish! What kit is it? Hobbyboss? I bought the Cutting Edge conversion many many moons ago with the intention of doing one..........but haven't done it yet.

Duncan B
I saw this somewhere else and thought it looked great. Now I see it in a larger picture it's stunning. I have a few of the Hobbyboss Wildcats but not this one so I might have to go get one to make up the set. Duncan B

Baldy
Smart looking bird and beautifully built and finished with convincing weathering. Looks great! Bet the floats slowed it down a bit though! Cheers Malcolm

Bet the floats slowed it down a bit though! Only one ever built & tested. By the time they had figured out all the niggles & quirks, the US already had enough airfields in the PTO not to need them anymore.

72modeler
1/48 scale? No matter; I've seen three F4F-3S's built- one in 1/72, and yours is by far the best! Beautiful colors and very realistic and accurate weathering. It would have been interesting, if they had been produced and saw combat, how they would have fared against an A6M-2N Rufe. That's a very, very nice model, Juan. Mike

binbrook87
That's very nice indeed. 👍 An aircraft you don't often see modelled. Can I ask what paint you used for the blue grey camouflage? It looks spot on
