Any resin on the Horizon for the HK 1/48 B-17G?

Hi all;

 

Quick question: Has anyone heard any rumours of any forthcoming resin aftermarket for the HK 1/48 B-17G? I've picked up the Eduard brass etch and the Brassin wheels that have not long been released, but wondered if there was any resin on the horizon for perhaps the cockpit, bombardier/navigators position/waist gun positions etc. There's a potential heap of possibilities for this kit, but it's seems to have been a bit quiet. Too soon perhaps? I've got some stuff already for the Monogram kit, some of which may be usuable. Happy to scratchbuild too, but if there's some shiny new resin on the way for this kit, that would be nice too.

I believe there will be forward cockpit and pilot's area parts along with superchargers appearing soon. There is also a host of PE out now from Eduard, flaps, undercarriage & Exterior, Bomb Bay, paint masks too.

Thanks Duncan! Any idea who is doing the cockpit parts? The superchargers will be useful, and some new engines would be welcome as the kit parts are rubbish, but I've got some Quickboost that will probably sort that out.

I can't for the life of me remember where I read it even though it was only a week ago (that'll be old age sneaking up!).    I will update this thread when I remember.

Thanks Duncan. I appreciate that. The cockpit certainly needs some help with the oxygen bottle set up, in particular, being a bit disappointing. Then again, just how much will be seen through a 1/48 B-17 cockpit window is debatable!
