Sounds like fun. Most likely go for a recon plane - but then again civilian planes are not completely out of question and I've entertained the idea of giving some wheeled kits a go. So, in other words, everything is still open :D But I'm in!

Where is the cut-off for military aircraft?. I.e. do EW-Aircraft Count as armed (Iimagene the Prowler would not be elegible as it was fitted with anti-radar Missiles, but what about the EF-111), also what About PR Aircraft which where initally unarmed (example: RF-4C Phantom II), but recieved some air-to-air capability in later years? What about the tanker Version of the Intruder which officially was unarmed but was sopmetimes used as a bomber? What About the Heinkel 111 and other german military aircraft officially designed as postal and passenger planes?

Most of your examples fall under the "specialisation for a job" criteria. So if you model an Intruder all tanked up for air to air refuelling, it's in. If you build her with MER's full of Mk 82's, then it is not eligible.  If you want to build an early model Heinkel 111C as Lufthansa used that's in, a H-6 torpedo bomber is not in.

There’s a 1/32 Gee Bee or a 1/48 Republic Sea Bee waiting to be built (strange concurrence in the names, never thought about that before :) ). So count me in and I’ll decide which come the day.

Are unarmed trainer versions of military planes OK? Got a bright yellow trainer variant of the Fairey Firefly that's begging for an excuse to be built.

Well the Seabee is in progress but the Geebee is still there and I think I have a Ford racer in the stash and a HP Heracles too.  So plenty of options.

W.W.E.M.D ;)

So is he?

Well, he's considering the last bit.   He's also considering a WRC rally car.

But he's now really concerned that he's started to refer to himself in the third person...  :yikes:

A definite sign of megalomania, just like Julius Caesar, Charles de Gaulle, or Diego Maradona ...
