The Buchon probably won't be in scale for me, but I have got a recipe for blending a 109 with an Eduard Spit to make one...
DaveJL
Count me in for this one. Have a North African based Spitfire that I was meant to build for a previous GB so would be good to get it done.

Mach82
Hi Col. If it is not too late can you count me in on this one .... I have a choice of RhAF Hunter, AF of Zimbabwe SF-260 Genet, or RhAF Canberra. Having retired at the beginning of last year and following the move back to the UK, I am now in a position to get back into the hobby 😁 Best regards Mark

mitchem
,,,at the risk of being left behind, I'll throw my name in the hat too if I may? Having said that, (and knowing my recent track record with Group Builds), I may have to start my build in the WIP section - just to save the mods from having to move it later ...two engines and no weapons... ! mike 2
zebra
Decals for a Congolese Boeing 727 arrived yesterday. So with at least two other builds in the Africa GB planned (Angolan Herk and either Angolan or Mozambican Il-62, plus maybe an Ethiopian/Eritrean/Angolan/Algerian MiG-29 or Su-27/30...), 3 ongoing in the ANZAC GB, 2 to finish in Interceptors, and Anything But Injection starting a month into this one, things are about to get interesting. Can't help thinking I'm not going to build them all, whatever Enzo might say!

Had a minor stash re-organisation to unearth the MiG-25 in anticipation and then realised the Aeronavale F4U-7 Corsair I'm finishing would be another eligible project due to its use in Algeria and Suez campaigns
Ghostbase
Just thinking aloud really, possibly looking at one of 1/48th Tiger Moth, Harvard IIA, or a Hurricane II; all 1944/45 Commonwealth Training Plan in South Africa. Or maybe a 1/35th Crusader III from Second Battle of El Alamein 1942. Would any of these be permissible on this GB? Michael
Tim R-T-C
My research specialist ordered this set for me... although sadly there aren't any good MiG23s in scale. I'll have to work on his kit knowledge. 😏 Fortunately it does include some other schemes that do fit with my stash.

vppelt68
I'm not posting other decal options I have for Africa than the MAV decals SAAF Boston set, but they are there... I'm happy to try to finish one of these - don't try to give me that W.W.E.M.D this time - I've learned not to try too much at once 1

Mjwomack
I should write out a thousand lines that I must not sign up for GBs that I won't compete. Trouble is it's easy to do a thousand lines with cut and paste and I feel the lure of the Roden Vanguard OOB as African Safari Airways. And I need to put in an order to KingKit for something else so it would effectively be post-free. Somebody stop me!! Don't waste time with reason! Just tell me its ineligible Edited February 10, 2021 by Mjwomack Typo correction
