you clever man (don't get to say that often!! :tease:),  I was only just thinking about something like that on the weekend. Though it may have had something to do with just buying Roden's 1/32nd Reims FTB337G "Lynx" at my club meet. :D

So I guess you'd better add me to the list.

Yes please count me in. :yahoo:

Just the other day I started to look for some MiG-21 decals for some African countries.

So this will suit me just fine.

Good call Col.

Let's hope I don't get any grand ideas  (like the current Nordic GB) and attempt to build a subject from each of the qualifying nations!!

For my part, I'll be in with at least some Rhodesian and South African subjects.

Cheers.. Dave

Is this only for things used by African countries?

Is the Afrikakorps also allowed ?

I think I may have a MiG-21 earmarked for Egyptian service... :hmmm:

Any reason to build a MiG-21 is a good one in my mind :D

I'm sure you'll have other options added to the stash by the time this one kicks off Rich ;)

🙋🏻‍♂️ OOOH OOOH  me me please me i need to fo a SAAF Mirage or F-86 sabre.

Anything with Springbok markings works for me Dennis and particularly a Mirage  Although the Sabre is a good one too.

Anything in or from an African nation is good for this one.

More MiGs equals better in my opinion and the African schemes were some of the most colourful B)

If it occured in Africa then it's in. So yes, Afrika Korps is good, the North Africa campain is all part of Africa's story :)

Hi @Col.

I'm bound to have something suitable lurking in the stash so put me down as well.

Also @jeanwho living in Africa should be automatically entered. 😉

cheers Pat

Dragooned again!?

I haven't read the GB 's terms yet.

Would an Ebola virus in 1/72 scale be eligible? If not, I will have to do a lot of head scratching...

Cheers guys.

I'm sure plenty of us do and perhaps don't realise it, even if not there's plenty time to make stash additions as this will be for a 2021 slot if we can get through, hopefully it'll inspire some unusual subjects.

Hello. I'm on for this. I'm delighted you haven't put a time restriction on this. I wish the MTO builds weren't 39-45.

Alan

No restrictions other than it is something from a point in Africa's rich history Alan :)

Welcome aboard Jean  Perhaps modelling it in 7200000/1 will make it visible to the naked eye?

so many possibilities

With pleasure Gary. There is indeed a wide range and variety of possibilities available from any subject genre so hopefully something for everyone within the scope of this GB proposal.

It's gone a bit quiet here gang and there's a whole continent of subject matter to choose from so bound to be something for everyone.

Yes please, count me in, @RidgeRunner build of his Gabonese Skyraider serves as great inspiration for this.

Assuming this gets the numbers and then through the poll (and I can see no reason why it won't, such an appealing subject), then if you want a co-host I'm happy to throw my hat into the ring!

Fancy an Alpha Jet for this one, or maybe a G-91, or an Invader, or...

Israel isn’t Africa, mate. How about venturing beyond the stream of IDF/AF builds that we see and go wild ..... how about South African? Angolan? ;)
