reini
Junkers Ju 87D-5 Stuka Kit: Hasegawa Junkers Ju 87 D-5 Stuka (09053 / JT53) Scale: 1/48 Paints: Vallejo Model & Air Weathering: Flory Models Wash, MIG weathering products, oil paints Built for the Stuka GB. Good solid kit, had a lot of fun with the weathering and making this thing worn and beaten. Went little bit 'artistic' on this one, truth to be told did not look a lot of reference pictures. Out of the box - only added pitot tube and weapon barrels (injection needles). WIP thread: Comments & constructive criticism welcomed! 33

supersonic
The wheathered white wash parts does look excellent! One note if you allow, personally i find the transition to the original painted mid section a bit to sharp.

IanC
For a second I was fooled by that first photo! Maybe a bit more muck and oil underneath? But still very impressive.

True - it's bit more sharp than I might have liked. On the paiting diagram it was showing like a clear cut line but I felt that it didn't quite fit, despite the splinter camo. But could have made the line even less uniform. 23 hours ago, IanC said: Maybe a bit more muck and oil underneath? But still very impressive. Yeah - I feel like there might be another oil paint session with this. I also forgot gun staining on the wings... Thank you all for comments! SAT69
Your placing in the competition just goes to show your work is highly regarded. Very nice Stuka. I think the weathering looks very good and can picture the real plane looking just like that.
