SoftScience
My second finished model for the new decade, but only the first I'm willing to show in public. This is Tamiya's M3A1 kit. I added grab handles made from wire, and some lead foil tool straps, with lead wire buckles. Everything else is from the box. It was a very simple, easy to build kit. I decided to finish the kit in a classic artistic style, as I wanted something representational if the real thing, without distracting from the lines of the tank with too much weathering. The finish was done entirely with acrylic and oil paints. This type of finish was HEAVILY influenced by BM member @Plastix, who was very gracious in providing guidance along the way. Thanks, Stix! Oh, and this was my first serious attempt at a figure, so don't be too harsh. 47
Jasper dog
Brilliant, nowt wrong there, lovely paintwork and nicely weathered. Figure is really good, wish my figures came out half that good. Great work Darryl

SoftScience
Thank you all for the kind comments and likes. I have a question about how these pictures look on your screens. When I view this from my pc at home, the color balance is on the bright side. But when viewed on my phone, or on the screen at work, the pictures look pretty dark. What are you seeing? Yetifan
Really excellent job, love the finish. The less is more on the weathering is perfect on this small vehicle 🙂

Shashman
Excellent job. You've perfectly achieved your aim of focusing all attention on the tank itself and its details rather than weathering.
