72modeler Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I found this just now, and with the impending re-release of the not-so-good PM C-45 and AT-11 kits, I thought this might be useful for any of you contemplating building one, or using one of the Hobbycraft kits. Steve N Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Good stuff! My plan has always been to use the fuselage from the PM AT-11, and combine it with the wings, tail, and canopy from Hobbycraft. SN
modelldoc Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Here we have the Hobbycraft kit: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/13510877143/in/dateposted/ and this is the PM kit, here in the nice Matchbox / Revell issue: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/13510816643/in/photostream/ modelldoc
Graham Boak Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 You probably know already, but if not, make sure that you get the right Hobbycraft kit, as one alternative is a postwar aircraft with the leading edge extensions and longer nacelles fairings.

Yep- their C-45F boxing has the short nacelles and no inner wing extension and their C-45H kit has the longer nacelles and LE extension. Mike
