tomprobert
Beautifully done. I was only looking at my own version of this in my stash the other day - how does it go together? It looks like a nice kit in the box. Tom
Mark Strasser
Thanks Tom. Went together very well. Decals are great. Lading struts are fragile. Mark

Hobo
Beautiful build. What decals and what white paint did you use? Very impressive.
fjaweijfopi4j48
Well done, Mark. The PanAm ads that were broadcast in Argentina long ago still resonate in my memory.

I used FolkArt acrylic satin titanium white mixed with gloss Liquitex varnish and water. Great results. Decals are from the kit. Minicraft. busnproplinerfan
Want to lick it, glossy. Does this paint stay bright white for a long time? I never saw this one before. I guess you airbrushed it? Edited February 19, 2020 by busnproplinerfan
Challenger350Pilot
Nice work in deed, Mark. And this is your FIRST airliner?? Wow. Hope to see more from you for sure! You mentioned that the gear are fragile...know that there are aftermarket metal gear and wheels for this scale 727; I've used them and they are fantastic...much more detailed than the kit supplied ones, and very strong, and very easy to work with. The only complaint I had was that I had to make axles for the mains...but that was pretty minor compared to the inadequacies of the kit gear. Very good job!! Thank for sharing. A beautiful airplane with a stunning livery!

Mark I’ll Have to look onto the stuff. Goes on nice and thin? A white base helps? or light grey primer?
