Fortunately @trickyrich has his STGB line drawn too high (7), this one is at the moment above the correct one (9). We'll make it in the end, I know that! V-P

It's ok I corrected it...... but you still need to cross your fingers

Looks like this one isn't going to make it 😭 I was really hoping it would.

I propose that this STGB and the Do17 STGB join forces to get at least one medium bomber STGB into the GB calendar for next year. The Do17 is ahead on the poll compared to this one.

Edit: to clarify what I mean, abandon either this one or the Do17 and shift votes to the other. Do17 is ahead so it would be easier to push to 7th place

I’m with Adam on this one. The Ju88 and derivatives was one of the most important planes on the Axis side in WW2.

Joining it to the Do17 STGB would make for a really interesting GB.

But then it wouldn’t be an STGB would it? 🙄

Unfortunately no, it wouldn´t. But don't worry, I got new plans for 2023! V-P

This one isn't dead yet! It's actually through right now, get in your votes! And if you want, put one on the Do17 as well and get both into next year's calendar

I was pleased this got through. My subject will be, hopefully, an Italeri Ju 188 for a weird reason that is quite special to me, all will be revealed at the time.

Steve.

Assuming I finish my Revell B17F on time for the RevelloGram GB then I'd like to enter this GB as well

It's another Revell kit (ok ICM!)

To meet the time frame I'm looking to build out of the box (the interior's going to look pretty amazing through the glass in any case I reckon)

The last (and only) time I built an 88 was around fifty years ago - Airfix of course, I had to borrow some dark green oil paint off my mum - I didn't even paint the interior!!!!! It looked incredible to my eyes though

So here it is -  I fancy the winter camo scheme from the Eagle Cals sheet:

Glad to have you Nick and your kit from the 🇺🇦 with us! I've read very favorable build threads about these kits. Back then in happier times I emailed the boys in Kyiv and asked if they'd bother downscaling at least the A-5, D-2 and C-4 versions into 1:72 scale, but they didn't promise to do that and now they have more important things to do. Thanks for the welcome!! I hope those guys are OK, they haven't updated their Facebook page in over a month...

Yes the kit looks great, I have two of the ICM branded 88s as well, one destined to be a BoB, and two of their 111s.

Looking forward to the build!!!

That's ein klassiker - and you're a brave man, welcome! V-P

I’m old enough to remember it as a state of the art kit :) but yes, while not quite up to modern standards it doesn’t look too bad.

Depends on the weather, but generally I lean towards classic :)

But I also have the Toad Ju488, its a difficult choice ancient Revell verses Toad Resin

We could have a vote 🗳

Cheers Pat
