jimmyg352
Like bombs. I don't normally bother but I'm on with a 1/48 A10 & the yellow bands around the bombs are bugging me, how do you mask/paint/whatever to get a decent result? Ta. fewr9fkr9595
I do it with tape mate. place a piece of tape on your mat then cut curves using coins etc to trace around (not 20p !) then you can use those sections for bombs and radomes or similar. another is the flexible white tamiya ‘for curves’ tape. Booty003
Here is a cracking tip that I picked up elsewhere. Spray the yellow band onto the ordnance first, apply one of these (or similar size mm depending on scale) and then spray the main green colour. Remove the band and Bob is your Uncle..... I have used this method a few times and it works a treat. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ZQEDY-200pcs-Pellet-Fishing-Terminal/dp/B07FZY5LJ1/ref=sr_1_44?adgrpid=51985594526&dchild=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7aPyBRChARIsAJfWCgLhTV5dZGUlrMlJW-cDBGNmvR75NiyFn0IBDHwY2pFiBFP_QN9COMIaAjFMEALw_wcB&hvadid=259046420874&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=1007229&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=8681130221489843580&hvtargid=kwd-301715845119&hydadcr=13251_1819382&keywords=fishing+rubber+bands&qid=1581884919&sr=8-

Dr. Quack
Not tried this myself but I'm assured it works beautifully..... Make a small pinhole in a balloon and squeeze your round / tapered thing through the hole to the desired depth....then paint away over the balloon mask.
