And as with the TV version being built I to have the vertical sink marks witch I have filled ready for construction to begin.

airfixpeter
Started on the skirt section wit the first seven panels wet on with minimal fuss just a bit of filling and sanding. However the last four left me with lots of work to do as the last two rear ones were well out of line.
pockets
how come you assembled it that way peterairfix ? ,I thought that the last two to be glued together are the two front skirt sections and then the whole skirt attached to the base at a later stage , iv'e never done it your way round , maybe thats why you ran into problems with the x factor being moved to a different place. looks like you overcame it though, looking good so far chap. Mike
Nice work Peter - I've seen a few of these lately, and it's making me want one, even though I'm not a real Dr Who fan. incidentally, your posts will look more attractive if you press enter at the end of your text before you start adding pics. It stops that weird widely spaced word thing that you were suffering from til I fixed 'em
